This week, I leave for my long-awaited ‘little book tour’ beginning in my hometown of Southington, Connecticut just in time for the start of the town’s “Apple Harvest Festival,” where I will get to visit with old friends, family, and fellow Southington High School Class of ’57 grads. My gratitude to Dawn Sargis, the activities coordinator at Calendar House, the town’s robust Senior Center, for arranging a “Reading & Conversation” on Monday afternoon.
