Wednesday Words

Once-a-Week in your mailbox …  a summary of recent postings, links to items of interest, and reminders of upcoming events.  This week’s reminder is about August’s Second Sunday  (8.14) gathering where we will be speaking of poetry and … whatever else is on our minds from 4-6 pm (PT). I’m not asking for RSVPs, so all subscribers are receiving the link and very welcome to join the conversation.  Our Zoom Room is spacious and open to your guests as well.

Those of you who have been part of Sunday Suppers, please note that our gathering time is now 4, not 4:30.

And here’s a little poem by William Stafford to tuck in your pocket for whenever you might need it.

YES

It could happen any time, tornado,

earthquake, Armageddon. It could happen.

Or sunshine, love, salvation.

It could, you know. That’s why we wake

and look out – no guarantees

in this life.

But some bonuses, like morning,

like right now, like noon,

like evening.
